After a year’s break due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Leavenworth International Accordion Celebration is back in the Bavarian-themed town of Leavenworth, Washington. The festivities start on Thursday, June 17, and end on Sunday, June 20.
This year’s schedule has been scaled back due to ongoing safety concerns from COVID, but the organizers and artists are looking forward to an event that’s enjoyable for everyone. The schedule consists of concerts in the gazebo at the town square in downtown Leavenworth. There will also be a garden space for jamming and workshops and a virtual adjudication event for students.
If you’re an accordion player and would like to perform in the gazebo, contact Doris Osgood at dorisosgood@frontier.com or call (503) 357-0417.
No tickets will be sold this year. Just stop by, enjoy the music, and meet the performers.
