Two open-air cinemas in Portland this summer

Watch movies, from comedies to dramas, at two open-air cinemas in Portland this summer sponsored by Cinema Unbound, a joint project with the Northwest Film Center and the Portland Art Museum. Choose from the Rooftop Cinema at the Lloyd Center or the Drive-In at OMSI.

The season for the Rooftop Cinema at the Lloyd Center runs July 1-September 30 and July 8-30 at the Drive-In at OMSI.

Tickets for the Rooftop Cinema at the Lloyd Center are $20 per person for general admission, $30 VIP, and $20 for ADA seats. The VIP tickets include VIP seating, VIP parking, and one food and drink voucher each.

Tickets for the Drive-In at OMSI are $40 per car; $50 for trucks, vans, and SUVs; and $60 for premium. Premium tickets include VIP parking, two food vouchers, andn two drink vouchers. The ticket prices include a $5 venue fee.

Bike parking is available at the Drive-In at OMSI for $15 per bike. 

Tickets are available online only. To buy tickets, choose the movie you want to see, click the Buy Ticket button in the upper right corner of the screen, and scroll down to select the number of tickets. Follow the prompts from there to pay and get your tickets.

The Rooftop Cinema is located on the top level of the the west-end parking garage, which is not covered, at 10th Avenue and NE Halsey at the Lloyd Center shopping center in the Lloyd District. Enter the garage next to the Barnes and Noble bookstore on NE Halsey and drive toward the rooftop, then follow the signs to the cinema.

The Drive-In at OMSI is located at 1945 SE Water Avenue, south of the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI).
