Free outdoor movies at the Seattle Center July and August

Enjoy a pleasant summer evening watching a free movie at the Movies at the Mural series at the Seattle Center. The movies start at dusk, approximately 9 p.m., and are projected on a forty-foot screen at the Mural Amphitheatre lawn at the base of the Space Needle.

Each evening begins with a short film created by students from the Cornish College of the Arts, followed by the featured movie.

Here’s the lineup for the 2021 season:

  • The Princess Bride on Saturday, July 31
  • The Farewell on Friday, August 6
  • Strictly Ballroom on Saturday, August 7
  • Vampires vs. The Bronx on Friday, August 13
  • Knives Out on Saturday, August 14
  • Boy on Friday, August 20
  • Yesterday on Saturday, August 21
  • Cabarete on Friday, August 27
  • The Wiz on Saturday, August 28

Bring a blanket, low-back chair, or beanbag.
