Get outside on the last Saturday in July at the fifth annual Pierce County Trails Day. Whether you go on a hike or participate in one of the dozens of activities hosted by Pierce County and ForeverGreen Trails, the goal is to have fun in the beautiful outdoors.

Some examples of activities scheduled on July 31 this year are birdwatching, a rubber duck hunt, trail cleanups, and handcar races. Or you can pick a trail and hike it on your own.

For a list of activities and trails in the 2021 Pierce County Trails Day event, go to forevergreentrails.org.

ForeverGreen is a non-profit organization based in Tacoma that works with governments, agencies, and non-profit groups to organize events that encourage people to enjoy the outdoors.
