Last week, I wrote a post about Car Tunes PDX’s schedule in August and September 2020. Tonight, I received an email from Ticket Tomato that the event has been postponed until 2021.

The message from Ticket Tomato was on behalf of Car Tunes PDX:

“Car Tunes PDX is postponed. In a year that has brought many surprises for the live events industry, Car Tunes PDX had hoped to provide the community with some much-needed joy and live music. And we are so grateful for the enthusiasm from fans, the community, and our sponsor partners.

“The drive-in concert series was born in a pandemic year with so many unforeseen circumstances. The desire to get creative and pivot so the community can gather safely for concerts — while also aiding the live events workers — remains our focus. Although our summer 2020 events will no longer take place, the team is excited to still bring you this series in 2021! Stay safe this summer and we look forward to gathering with you in the future.”

Ticketholders will receive a refund.
