The annual Hood River Lavender Daze festival has been a July tradition in the city of Hood River for years. This year, the sponsor, Hood River Lavender Farms, expanded the festival to every weekend in July and August. The festival starts Friday, July 16, and ends on Sunday, August 29.

Activities include live music, shopping at art booths, craft classes, face painting, wine tasting, and a ladybug release party. Cut your own lavender, buy products made from organic Oregon lavender, and try foods made from lavender.
